Just a quick post to say:
1) I'm back home.
2) OMG I HAVE A BOOK THAT YOU GUYS HAVE GOT TO READ!!!!!
Anyone read Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels? They're a very funny, quirky fantasy series that I've recently been introduced to. One of them is called "Maskerade" and is about a young woman named Agnus who heads off to the big city (mostly to escape a pair of witches who want her to join their ranks) to pursue her dream of becoming a singer. She is accepted into the Opera House, where she befriends another new singer named Christine... who comes to her in the middle of the night, terrified, because her mirror is talking to her.
It doesn't follow the original story of course. Christine is a ditz, there's no Raoul, although there are the witches who followed Agnus and started snooping into the Ghost, and there are trolls and dwarves in the opera audience. XD There is, however, an awesome tribute to the Lon Chaney movie, and an appearance by Red Death (which made me laugh out loud). And lots of people who keep glancing at the chandelier and saying, "That looks like an accident waiting to happen. That's the first thing I'd smash if I was a loony."

The notes the Ghost leaves tend to read something like this:
"Hahahahaha!!!!! Ahahahahahaha!!!!!
Yours Sincerely,
The Opera Ghost
PS. Ahahahahahaha!!!!!"
